This image is of Tobermory, the site of children’s TV programme Balamory. I love the sheer vibrance of this image, it’s really great to see the bright colours dotted against the blue sky and green hills.
In order to capture this image I had to get really close to the water, but while I was changing lenses from my 70-300 to my 18-70 I must have got some fluff on my sensor, because I looked at the image when I got home and realised there were dots and curls all over it. Fortunately I also have Adobe Photoshop CS4, so I had no problem getting rid of them!
